I learned to spin on a pair of Technics 1200's and a Vestax PMC-03 in the early 90's from my friend Joey (RIP), who ran a mobile DJ business in the Philippines with his brother. Now that I'm based in the Bay Area of California and made the transition to digital dj'ing, I'll mix anything that has a catchy tune or beat. I love Pop/Top 100 but I'm also a sucker for throwing in a hint of 90's/early-2000's hip-hop & R&B when I can sneak it in. Throw in a Country remix? I can do that. Big House or Tropical? You got it. One hit wonders too? Sure, why the hell not. :)
