Live & Direct is a long running club night, started in 2003 by two fellas called BiggaBez and Millsy. From house parties around South Manchester with BiggaBez's sound system, the ashes of club night 'No Skool' and long forgotten DJ collective 'The Panza Crew' came 'Live & Direct'. Incorporating live musicians and MC's, such as Cookie, Chi MD, Shona Rilla and Texas Steve, plus more DJ's, like Muckish, Jacky, Phanto 5000 to name three, they brought a mega top class, hip-hop, funk, soul jam down to places like The Font, Sub Club, The Old Abbey and anywhere else that'd pay a case of beer. After brief hiatus at the start of the 2010's (?), Live & Direct found a new home at The Eagle Inn, Salford, the coolest hidden boozer and music venue in the North-West. You'll find BiggaBez along with newest recruit Pablo Wunderbar - whenever he can slip past customs - on most Friday nights and special occasions. See you there!
