Ben started his music career as singer/guitarist in Australian rock band Bodyjar in the mid to late 90’s then went onto pursue a career in electronica re-locating to London and then onto NYC between 1998 - 2001 to follow his passion.
Since then Ben has run and played countless residencies in London, Melbourne & Sydney including Turnmills (U.K), Revolver (Melb) and was part of Melbourne’s 33 1/3 DJ roster. Ben and has opened shows for artists such as the Beastie Boys, Beck, James Lavelle, Jazzy Jeff, Grandmaster Flash, Mr Scruff, Stanton Warriors, Freestylers, Plump DJ’s, Krafty Kuts, Greg Wilson, Avalanches DJ’s, Nickodemus, DJ Spun & Recloose as well as local legends Ransom, Paz, Agent 86 and Nick Thayer to name a few.
Ben currently resides in Melbourne and is busy working on new original material, re-edits and mixes under the guise Florian Nites and DJ Ben Stacey in his home studio.
