Ben Katana a.k.a. Shaolin Mantis is also one of the most prominent DJ's in the Malaysia clubbing scene, known for his signature tough techno & electro sound. Ben has built a strong following by regularly playing for local Regenerate parties with various residencies and prominent events. He’s also been voted No.1 DJ in Malaysia in JUICE magazine in 2003 and Best resident DJ alongside DJ Eugene & DJ Gabriel in MUZIK magazine (UK) Global Clubbing Issue #43.

POPCON is made up of two of the finest and most well-respected first-generation DJs, Bryan Burger and Ben Katana - both of whom had residencies at the legendary Movement club. Together, they present a refreshingly eclectic mash-up of each others' various influences from electro-clash to German techno and minimalism.
