I was brought up in the 80’s on a diet of Hip Hop and Electro. The joy of watching the records spin on my older brother’s 1210’s, the lights, the flawless rotation, created an awe and wonder that condemned me to a lifetime of seeking music as my source of comfort. My musical taste naturally evolved onto House. From day one it was always that underground sound that resonated with me. In short I like anything old skool as long as it’s got soul. I like contemporary music as well but I always find myself going back to the well of 80’s / early 90’s tunage. Oh and what I discovered early on is, despite having a good ear for music, I absolutely cannot mix! So I enjoy the work of others who can. Peace.
