In 1992 Ben started djing and learning his skills from Peter Tigani at City Rowers nightclub in Brisbane. Playing a range of music from house to RnB, hip hop, rock and party music. He then moved clubs with Peter to reopen Lexington Queen which then changed names to Nightworks.During this time his passion for the rave and dance scene grew.
Slowly but surely after a few different dj names DJ Inferno was born. Playing Happy Hardcore DJ Inferno started to build his reputation as a dance dj. Working with the likes of Barking Boy, Thief, Jen-e, Hurricane and Ken Jensen.
Inferno started playing some of the dance clubs and raves in Brisbane like The Tube. Raves such as the Dj Beats 2, Mayhem and many others.

Infernos music style started to change around 1999 moving more into the Hard house style where he seems to find the genre that suited him best.
He started working with DJ Edwin in a club in Adelaide street Brisbane which was his first move into promoting his own night.
