Raymond Shamsid-Deen Jr., was born in St Paul, Minnesota has been a resident of Sacramento, California since 1988. He began drumming at the age of six, influenced by musical greats Dennis Chambers, John Bonham, Max Roach, and Tony Williams. His career as a professional drummer includes live theater performances. His most recent performances have been with several local Sacramento bands.
