Music is the art form that sets your mind free with it’s combination of creativity and communication that transcends gender, culture, and language. Or to put it in the words of Bas Huisman “When words fail, music speaks”.
Bas is a Dutch Dj, born in 1974 in the city of Haarlem. His dad used to have a drive in disco in the 80’s and sparked his love for music and vinyl records. In ’89 Bas got his first mixer, a Technics SL1210, and started making his own mixes.
During the rise of House music in Holland in the 90’s, Bas organized houseparty’s in Haarlem and closely followed the Dutch DJ/producer scene and the incredible rise of House Music in Holland.
