Mathieu Lavoie Sabourin started putting his passion for music into work in the end of 2011 when he started recording mixtapes and mashups. As his various creations became more and more popular among his friends, he started mixing in small events. After showing his talent in various Dj contests, fund-raise events and college semester parties, Bacchus (then known as M3thod) participated in his university's Dj contest, where he ranked third against popular DJs from all across Quebec. Searching for a name that better fits what he stands for and what he tries to bring to every party, he therefore officialy changed his stage name to Bacchus (the roman god of wine and ecstasy) in the beginning of 2014. With over 50 recordings of live sets, mixtapes and mashups, Bacchus decided to use Mixcloud to release all of his work. He is now seeking to take his talent to bigger scenes in the Montreal nightlife industry.
