Aztlan Xpressions was established in 1996 by Rick Garcia in San Jose, California at the Berryessa Flea Market. We are a family owned and operated business that started from the ground up. The first day of operation started with little more than a vision, a canopy tent, 2 tables draped in sarapes (mexican blankets), and a few dozen t-shirts promoting latino culture. Needless to say, sales that day were a little under what was anticipated and by "a little" I mean a lot. The response was really good though and people were in aw that it was okay to be proud of being Mexican-American or Latino.
