Crystal Delgado also known as DJ Disco Kitten has been a music buff all her life. Disco Kitten loves all types of music but her passion is the entire House Music Movement.
Disco Kitten was introduced to house music at the age of 11 by her older sister Veronica Delgado and completely feel in love. As the years passed, she became more and more interested in watching other DJs perform as she danced in the crowd.
The fact that a DJ can produce raw emotion simply by manipulating a song with the tips of his or her fingers using two turntables and a mixer was the very thing that caused Disco Kitten to become "hooked".
Disco Kitten started performing using vinyl in December of 2008 and took on small gigs here and there in Fresno. It wasn't until she started playing more in Fresno's Tower District when she made the switch to utilizing Serato as a tool to expand her music selection. (Not to mention that vinyl was starting to become too pricey for her.)
