Axel Schwunck’s musical foundation was forged in the raw, experimental energy of 1980s West Berlin. Beginning his journey as a drummer and guitarist, he was immersed in a city that served as a global epicenter for musical evolution. As the industrial and Electronic Body Music (EBM) scenes gave way to the explosion of House and Techno in the late '80s, Schwunck’s transition into electronic production became inevitable.

Now based in Southwestern Germany, Schwunck has spent over three decades refining a signature sound that bridges the gap between digital precision and organic warmth. Since the early 1990s, his prolific output has spanned Deep House, Dub, and Soulful House, often defined by transatlantic collaborations with French and British musicians.
