Denise's love and compassion for the disadvantaged has inspired her to write her first book, "Who Said It Couldn't Be Done?”

she dropped-ou of school at an age and yrs later she return and got her Master Degree.

Denise was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1960. She received her GED from Olive-Harvey College in 1993. She graduated from National Louis University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Behavior. In 2009 she graduated from Spertus College earning her Master of Science Degree in Nonprofit Management with a concentration in Human Service Administration. She is a certified Addiction and HIV/AIDS Counselor.

She came up on the rough side of the mountain. Her mother was never around and left her to care for her brothers and sisters. The oldest of seven siblings, Denise was raised by her grandmother in a sweet but bitter home. By the age of six, her grandfather, uncle, cousin, the man from the dry cleaners and her sister’s father had molested her.
