Arumtaka’s music journey began when he was a teenager in 1994, during the time when alternative rock was dominating the radio charts. Inspired by that wave, he formed an Alternative Rock band with his friends. As time passed, new musical influences kept pouring in, and electronic music eventually made its way into his world. He started exploring computer-based music production and crafting electronic tracks. His horizons expanded further when he began his journey as a DJ in 2010, founding “Teknodiningrat,” an underground collective in Yogyakarta, and later establishing a local music label called “Techno Afterhours.” As an electronic musician who spends much of his time in home studios, he’s also worked on various projects, including jingles, ads, producing several bands, film scoring, and post-production work, continuing to pursue these projects today.
