I used to DJ from 1982 to 1987 and then on Hospital radio. I became well known for my DJ mix style and was a part of the very early Hip Hop scene as well. I was often featured on pirate stations of the day as well as Radio Luxembourg, Capital and BBC Radio 1 (The Lenny Henry Show) and BBC London. I was also involved in many UK Dance/Urban projects as well as other forms of music. After a while I was fed up with the whole thing, refused to sell out, and hated any notion of sponcerships from con merchant bastard companies that I loathed (and still do).
