Born 1960. First 3 vinyl singles were from The Beatles, Joe Cocker and Ronnie & de Ronnies and I got them from my uncle Harry, manager in an early kind of music bar mid 60's. Through the years I got and kept 3 all-time favourite bands: The Sweet, Heart and Rush. And many, many more in a diversity of genres. From early 50's r&r and soul, rock, to gothic, thrash and death metal, and even minimal music artists! Never a dull moment!
Proud to have been a dj in bars, drive in shows, hospital radio and local radio in The Netherlands. With my own Friday Night Rock Radio Show 'Barracuda', for 10 years, together with some friends. We got hundreds of musicians in our show, from local starting bands to world rock acts, they all joined us to do entertaining, mad, cosy radio shows, which above all made our day, every time again. Ending 2003, I did a similar thing from May 2018 till July 2021. The search for new, fine music is never over. Let's enjoy each on our own terms and our own taste. Aloha!
