Ancestral Swamp is a non-profit, self-funded and independent archiving initiative that aims to collect and to preserve, as much as possible, all the available physical music and sound recordings that have been made, produced and released by a Filipino artist, band, group or unit here in the Philippines and abroad. So far, the collection contains a diverse selection of genres from different musical idioms and eras which were commercially and non-commercially available on various physical media formats such as vinyl records, cassette tapes and compact discs.
