Being exposed to AST for the first time, it won't take long for you to realize that this gentleman is a thinking man's DJ. This drum and bass connoisseur stems from deep roots in the electronic music scene, drawing on early influences with reggae and dub and the energy of acid house. Hailing from Bedford, UK, this jack of all trade initially made his mark in the lyrical sciences under the pseudonym MC NYX. His quest for better music led him to start DJing in 1998, with his first appearance on Bedford College Radio. Soon, he was playing all over the country. Aswell as far as Bangkok and Berlin .......
If anything can be said about AST, it is that his ability to share scholarly sets comprised of only the most innovative tunes sets him apart - educating the crowd and urging them to remove any mental block they may have regarding music. So step on to the dance-floor, and let yourself experience what kind of magic can happen with AST behind the decks.
