Ali Aitken is a Scottish DJ & Producer spanning Disco, House, Afro, Latin & Global sounds. Known for multi-format, hybrid sets with percussion, live looping and FX, his tracks have been released by Only Good Vibes Music, Natasha Kitty Katt’s Ghetto Disco Records and Chris Astrojazz’s Samedia Trax. He has received airplay on Radio 1 and had several Traxsource Hype Chart appearances.

Ali is resident DJ at The Alchemist (Edinburgh) and El Santo (Glasgow) and is one half of global music crew Karawane.

Over the past 18 months he has played at Kelburn Garden Party, Doune The Rabbit Hole, Knockengorroch, Woodzstock, Under Canvas and Belladrum Tartan Heart festivals plus gigs in London, York, North Wales, Barcelona, Berlin and Rhodes supporting Craig Charles, Utah Saints and Samedia Shebeen among others.

As Karawane he co-hosts Takeover parties across Scotland featuring international guest artists with regular nights at Kings (Dundee) and Eden Court (Inverness).
