Arp is a New York-based musician, composer and producer, exploring the liminal space between ambient, bass music, and experimental music.
He’s produced music for RVNG Intl, Smalltown Supersound, Mexican Summer, Type, Beats in Space, Emotional Rescue, and Opal Tapes and has worked with a number of producers and musicians including Neneh Cherry, techno producer Patricia and Jefre Cantu-Ledesma.
With a background in Ethnomusicology — with an emphasis on non-Western folk traditions and avant-garde electronic music — he has presented sound and music commissions across MoMA PS1, BAM, The Kitchen, Deitch Projects, White Columns, MoMA, and New Museum and has worked with key figures from a range of disciplines — visual artists Tauba Auerbach and Darren Bader, the late filmmaker Paul Clipson, choreographer Jonah Bokaer.
