DJ TECHNOTRANCE is a DJ/producer best known for being at the forefront of the 90's dance scene in Scotland.with over 30 years experience under his belt from the early days of the rave explosion He has played at nearly every big event and festival in Scotland and has graced the decks of many an event all over the UK including n'Ireland and England.from the early 90's he played such events as the massive Awesome 101 and Rezerection events in Edinburgh to the latterly the huge coloursfest and fantasia festivals at the breahead arena Glasgow.Alex was also one of the original residents of iconic club the Fubar in Stirling! thru the years he has played with such names as Carl cox,grooverider,Lenny Dee ,joey beltram and his long time DJ partner and best friend (guy) bass generator to name but a few!! Alex has also recorded and mixed under many names and on many labels worldwide! nowadays alex is making techno under his new alter ego kick Preservation Society and co runs Pitch Dark Records
