Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Alex aka "Goodchild" is a dj since the age of 16. Though his passion for music is broad his specialty has always been House Music since the late 80's. "House music to me is the chameleon of music genres. It can "house" all sorts of sounds, lyrics and effects without losing its core while moving the masses no matter what language, ethnicity, orientation or anything else".
ORIGIN is the name of the mixed house sets by "GoodChild" which do not necessarily remain loyal to any House music sub genre but rather plays around with the different moods and vibes that one could feel during any given moment. "When playing for an audience, you have to be ready to shift your vibe if necessary. I love the element of surprise when spinning, never allowing my audience to figure me out completely, Predictability is boring".
