MIDI MANIAKS is a project created in 2010 by the collaboration of two boys, Ale (KCB) and Diego (TKNZ), with the common interest for the production of different kinds of music, from hiphop to tekno; in October 2012, the project was added a new component, Tommaso (TOMMIgb23) that brought a breath of fresh air and new ideas at the group.
The trio's live music performances are performed with different analog and digital instruments, characterized by fast beats and distorted bass. Drum machines and synthesizers are synchronized through the MIDI signal allowing the three to blend and mix their sound during live sets, offering each time a different mix of various musical styles.
The common interest in new kinds of electronic music experimentation lead as the first goal of the group.
