Grew up in da Pool uk, moved to Shrewsbury, started work as a young 14 and a bit year old as a Chippy and for my sins i'm still working as a chippy, ha ha good job i like it. Started listening to Motown and Reggae music as a teenager, until one day my older brother came home with a record on the Toast label, after hearing Doris Troy i was hooked on this american import music, no sign of Northern soul then, that came a little later, when i started buying Blues and Soul magazine, i learnt of different places and records. Started going to places listening to Soul music and watching the dancers doing their thing. i slowly learned a few moves and ended up going to Nighters and Dayers, the music, people and dancing is a way of life. I love it.
