When the word “rave” meant a warehouse full of smiley happy people and a “DJ” was just one of the lads with some 1210s and a killer collection of vinyl, hawXy was on the dancefloor taking it all in.
The vinyl collection was growing and his sets were usually at after parties or house parties on someone else’s decks!! Having got hold of some snide 1210’s hawXy got his first break DJing in a Club in 1997 delivering an early Trance set.
Trance was in its infancy and who could have known what a massive genre this would become!
You’ll probably find hawXy playing most genres of dance music from early ‘90’s Old Skool Piano House to banging Techno, Prog and Trance at underground dance music events in Manchester having more recently played slots at Room 303, Melotech, Barça, MCR Lounge, Stage & Radio, Kinōra, Rave Odyssey and Trancendance.
