Alain, born in 1966, now based at Holsbeek, near Louvain, Belgium started out playing the drums at the age of 3 and gave his first gig at the age of 4 in different venues of Belgium, being the youngest gigging drummer at the time. At the age of 18 he started playing the piano and starts making songs and arrangements for his first funk-soulband. That was the moment he did his first position-switch by playing the keyboards on stage. He played with different funk-soulbands, arranged music for different Belgian Artists. Sony Music Entertainment Belgium released Mindtripper's aka Alain Coppejans "Green Light" in 2011. He is also does studio sessions for different artists. His music preference and influence comes from Quincy Jones, Earth Wind and Fire, Prince, Gino Vanelli, Meshell Ndegeocello, 70s-80s Funk and Soul,.......
