Hailing from Louisiana, Afro Sensei released his debut EP Bougie Beats in 2014, before following up with Bougie Beats - The Remixes, a blend of deep/tech house, nu disco and trap, in summer 2015. Always one with an open ear, his sound, while rooted in house, draws on everything from Beethoven to Daft Punk, 70's funk and disco to New Orleans bounce and 90's hip hop.
