Afia is an Assistant Producer at the BBC and works across Radio 1, 1Xtra and The Asian Network. She also presents a radio show on CSRFM on Monday's from 9-10pm, championing underground talent across the globe. In between studying History at the University of Kent, Afia finds time to hosts live events and is the resident DJ for LevileTV's monthly networking event, Levile & Chill. Afia was one of the first backstage presenters at Strawberries & Creem festival and has previous experience being involved in the UK's first under 25 youth-led news team, London360. As a junior news reporter, Afia produced three 30-minute documentaries that broadcast on London Live and the Community Channel (SKY, Virgin, Freeview) on topics that gave a voice to under-representated communities.

Afia has also been involved in social media campaigns for Co-Op Foods and managed social accounts for the Boiler Room and O2 Music.
