Acid house is where it started in the late 80's at the Front (Pitt St Sydney), Horden Pavilion for RAT, Bacchanalia, Sweatbox, then onto the early 90's at Ziggurat, DCM, Black Market, etc.
30 years later I love hearing how current genres are still taking inspiration from that time.
