He was born in Galati, Romania in 1985. His friends and close ones know that his stage name – Lak – comes from his real name, Adrian Lacatusu. At the age of 17, he started to feel the passion for music as he entered a great Club frome his hometown for the first time. The club’s name was “Tineretului” and unfortunatelly no longer exists. Through time Lak was influenced by other musc genres such as hip hop which he appreciates very much. Nevertheless electro music was the genre that influenced his way of seeing music the most. It pushed him to want more...it made him want to mix in real clubs and to let people know his music. He started to mix in Zeba together with the resident dj and his good friend Dj Pedros. then he had a gig with the X –Cave club (Galati) and then he participated to a DJ Contest in club New York (Galati). And that's how eve
