From Jamaican parents, “A Doubles” was born and raised in Birmingham city, United Kingdom. He had been drawn to rap music since his teenage years and had experimented with different artists and producers from the local area. Not fully focused on what he wanted or even how to get it, nothing serious materialised.

Among those people was Mike Skinner from "The Streets". Mike had just signed a contract with a major record label and proposed the idea of making an album together. Unfortunately they could not see eye to eye on artist rights and legal matters and they went their separate ways.

As a back up plan for life, A Doubles finished off his studies at university and graduated in 2007. Since then, he has matured and developed his own unique style and labelled it ArtWork

A Doubles has a big point to prove as he been burnt in the past. Determination and confidence in his own ability to rock the mic will lay the path leading to his big plans for the future.
