Having grown up in Gothenburg (Sweden), Emil’s exposure to early rave music in 90s Europe started his passion in dance music. He began his DJ career as a student of the University of Cambridge where he organised the first progressive house/techno room at the annual May Ball in 2004. This success in turn developed into a monthly event -TRONIC- at Hidden Rooms (Cambridge) that ran for 2 years and cemented the local dance scene by exposing upcoming regional DJs. In 2015, after having spent 12 years in the UK, Emil moved to Jakarta, taking with him the sounds he was exposed to across Europe. In Jakarta, this caught the attention of promoters that led to gigs at various venues such as X2, Koh (bali), Miles Club, Illegals, 3rd Avenue as well as being invited to join the SINDHEN Collective and taking up residency at Por Que No Bar in Jakarta where he runs a monthly ‘Why not Tech?” event.
