I’ve been DJing since 1995, when I stepped behind a pair of Technics SL-1210s while studying in Preston. I learned the traditional way: mixing vinyl by ear, digging through record shops and perfecting every transition.
Access to leading promotional mailing lists brought me cutting-edge releases, often before they reached the shops. House parties soon led to club appearances across Preston, Manchester, Chester and Liverpool. In 2004, I was runner-up in the Pure Vinyl DJ Competition, and I’ve since played clubs, events and festivals throughout the North West.
More recently, I’ve presented radio shows where the music, selection and mixing take centre stage. My sound combines funky, soulful vocals, pumping basslines and tracks that build, break and lift a dancefloor, influenced by Daft Punk, Basement Jaxx, Roger Sanchez and Armand Van Helden. My aim is simple: choose the right records, build the energy and take people on a journey.
