In the same vein as COG & Mammal, Sydney-siders In Hydes Shadow combine rock and metal with results that conjure various degrees of nu-ness. Aaron Smiths clench-jaw vocal approach does nothing to hold back an impressive range and Jack Marr’s guitar work covers a ton of ground from Tool meets High On Fire; Marr is very talented, constantly switching tempos and intensity with the dexterity and ease of a seasoned professional. Meanwhile, Lachlan Campbell (Bass) and the Jared Lean (Drums) provide the backbone that allows Marr and Smith to do their thing.
In their short time together they have supported some great bands such as 28 Days, I Killed The Prom Queen, Twelve Foot Ninja, Nancy Vandal, Make Them Suffer, Kingswood, Calling All Cars, Red Bee, and many others which says allot for what’s on offer with this band.
