AKA DJ Kastellan Platinum, Aaron Barnes has been an electronic music enthusiast since he heard his dad jam Hawkwind in the crib and "Caught in the Crossfire" by April Wine in the early 80's. Raised on synthesizers and drum machines, his interest in electronic music grew until becoming part of the Seattle rave scene in the late 90's. His love for electronic music, especially breakbeats, has continued to grow and evolve throughout the years. Now, in a unique turn of fate, he has the opportunity to do and become anything he wants in the 2nd half of his life, and his choice is to study and produce electronic music. Attending university in the spring, he will be pursuing a full time degree in Music Production, while he continues to blow out small venues with his wicked array of booty breaks and bass house.
