Born in Denver, CO and lived teen years in West LA and Hollywood, R = Chi was raised around music and surround by professional musicians from the start. In circa 2008 in San Diego he was introduced to the art of mixing by a good friend Andrew Martin in Pacific Beach, A few month after he would have to move back to Denver. After settling down he was introduced to the local rave / party scene by his cousin where he met Ryan Vail, Reverend Pariah, and Andrew Floreza AKA Dr U. This epic night would change his direction and drive to master the art of mixing. from 09 till 12 he would hone his skills and play house parties and open at local clubs gaining a name for himself in the local Denver scene. During this time he helped start and operate a local production company Outbreak! and organize and throw massive outdoor camping parties and indoor raves. 2014 joining up with an old friend Mass Destruktion AKA David Esquibel the two creating Mad Skillz Ent and forming The Bass Fiends.
