MarCos’ musical journey began as a child, spoiled with exposure to a wide range of genres and world music. In the 90’s, his style and taste was molded by his adventures into the thriving rave scene as well as sounds from Detroit and German techno pioneers. Naturally, this lead to his first pair of technic 1200’s, mixer and a love for classic and current vinyl. His love for the music and performing has evolved into hybrid setups that at times incorporate drum machines and samplers.
MarCos’ style has been described as thumping techno with hints of soul, disco and futuristic sounds blended with penetrating basslines. His mixes take you on an energetic and groovy voyage that will make you want to move.
MarCos’ performs regularly at various clubs and events from Lavish Nightclub and Rum Runners to more prestigious venues such as London Music Hall. You’ll also catch Marcos treating your ears at festivals such as Blockparty and other local events.
