Born in Nova Scotia Canada into a musical family of Celtic/Dutch decent, Kevin Whitenect aka DJ Dark Yoda grew up with a love of all danceable music. Having cut his teeth on EDM during its developmental days in Canada during the late 90's to present day, he his love for what "makes humans move" has grown into a full passion. Just recently retired from 30 years of Professional Soldiering, he is now being trained in the art of spinning by one of Canada's original club greats: Andrew Carter.
