Xpressive Sounds is a futuristic music & arts show that aims to unearth future talent and classics. It focuses on jazz music from around the world and its sub-genres. It is a 2 hour weekly show that features interviews with trend setters in the arts space as well as musicians local and international.

The show is hosted by Mimi Mtshali, jazz vocalist, writer & composer. Mimi is a forward thinker who represents a school of young artists in the South African jazz scene. After completing her jazz performance degree studies at University of Cape Town, she has had the honor of sharing a stage with the likes of the likes of Sibongile Khumalo, Judith Sephuma and Themba Mkhize. She also shared stages with international greats such as Khadja Nin, Rita Marley, Joe McBride and Lauryn Hill.
