Walt clearly has a deep passion for music that has its roots in the British electronic scene, but has since evolved into a broader spectrum of genres. His interest in Jungle, Drum & Bass, and Dubstep has shaped his musical vision, but he doesn’t let himself be confined by genre boundaries. He continues to search for sounds that can evoke emotions and connect the dancefloor.
His love for vinyl and the ritual of browsing through record stores is also an important part of his music practice.
His involvement in initiatives like the 45T workshop by VI.BE and the Open Desk Contest by KIOSK Radio, under the mentorship of Lola Haro, shows that he is serious about developing his career as a DJ and producer. The fact that he has already played in various clubs, such as Funke, Amigo, and Bar Broos in Ghent, underscores his presence in the local music scene.
