The late, great John Peel was an early hero of mine. I began listening to him around 1977 and continued to do so, on and off, until his death. He introduced me to music more or less, he kept me informed, he was like a friend, always there. And then one stormy Monday morning, the news came through...and suddenly he was gone. I upload some of my own memories here for the pleasure of others. Some are John's shows, some are my own. All are intended as the same sparky, punky shows that music of the late seventies onward encouraged. Keep it Peel!
