Dani Van De Broucke has been behind the decks for over two decades. Part of the North East U.K Compakt Disco Crew, she is currently resident at Mortal Wombat and Shanti Bee at Lindisfarne festival. She has played at clubs globally, from the Pan!c Room in Shanghai to World Headquarters in Newcastle, U.K.
Originally an analogue DJ, Van de Broucke got her first ever set of belt-driven turntables back in the year 2000, progressing onto Technic 1210s, and Pioneer CDJ 1000 Mk3s. Now, she embraces the digital world and the 'produce on the fly' opportunities that digital Djing brings.
Some of Van de Broucke's biggest influences include the second-wave Chicago House Masters DJ Sneak and Derrick Carter and Prog House virtuosos Sasha and Digweed. Van de Broucke enjoys playing House, Techno, Speed Garage, and Drum and Bass.
