UPPERCUT hosts a weekly Friday Night event at the Waiting Room on Long Street playing a range of choice beats. The DJs for each show are selected carefully to ensure that the music is a true reflection of the genre, and can be appreciated by diehard and casual fans alike.
Once a month we throw a UPPERCUT Special Edition - Hip-hop Golden era party that celebrates the finest sounds from the nineties. The night is about bringing back the kind of old school hip-hop that we love to hear and that has been the soundtrack to our lives for almost two decades, and celebrating the act of DJing as the true art form that it is. The return of the DJ.
