Mirko Magnano, class '86, was born and raised with headphones in Siracusa.
In a 13-year carreer his performances have been hosted by the best location of eastern Sicily.
His selections are typically soaked with electronic sounds, funk, indie, alt rock.
In May 2008, he compiles his first official selection: ECCE FUNK, 15 tracks of the most authentic sound, born from a rib of the 50s’ r’n’b.
In many occasions, after live, music events, he plays with some big shots of the sicilian and national music scene.
Since 2012 he has joined the editorial staff of "LE FATE" (a bimonthly magazine about Sicilian arts, culture and identity) where he writes in the “FATE musica” [meaning “make music” in Italian] section running a column entitled: The DJ does not play."
Moved in Berlin, he is proposing his music selections in clubs and bars.
