In short Tufkut is a BBoy Dj who produces 80's/90's BoomBap HipHop and plays out 60's/70's Funk for the folks.
Tufkut started Djing in '86 and after working with Mc2Fine for a couple of years linked with RobLife in '90 and released an EP in '91 with one side each LTK001. After to-ing and fro-ing between labels TufKut, RobLife and STS set up the BeatsinProgress label in '97 until today. In '98 the BreakinBread Club/Label had emerged with mainstay RobLife churning out releases-run by Skeg, RobLife and Tufkut. Since then a stint on ItchFM in '00 until SenseiFM was concieved in '08. This was filled with more club work and joining of the UniversalZuluNation before doing a slot on the ZuluNation Rap show on BangFM in'09. I ran the Cratefast Show from Aug'13 to June'19 but am still active pressing records today on trusty Golden era kit making Boom Bap sounds with the BeatsinProgress touch.
