TradConnect was established in April 2011 as a new social forum for traditional Irish musicians. It brings together musicians from across the globe providing a place where they can talk about and share their music with other like-minded musicians.

Our aims are simple.

Firstly, we want to connect musicians with other musicians in their area. This is done through the Group feature on the site. The overall goal is to have a group for every county in Ireland, state in the USA, UK and ultimately every country. Some groups have already been started, others will follow. This will be a very powerful tool and will place you in direct contact with many musicians in your area. These musicians will be at different levels, from beginner to professional.
