Berlin, Germany
Tom Clark, a native Berliner, has been a part of the electronic Berlin music scene since the fall of the Berlin Wall. In 2000, Tom founded the label "Gold Plate Music," serving as a platform for new Berlin club sounds and the label "Laufwerk." Later, Highgrade Records joined, playing a significant role in the emerging minimal house scene at that time. Over the course of 13 years, Highgrade Records released more than 170 productions. Tom himself released three albums and over 30 singles under the name Tom Clark, as well as numerous projects under various pseudonyms.
For a decade, Tom performed at Berghain and the old Ostgut.
In the summer of 2010, the five-member live project "Highgrade Disharmonic Orchestra" was formed. They toured Europe for two years, resulting in several EPs, singles, and an album.
In 2012, Tom started the project "False Image" in collaboration with the Canadian artist Noah Pred. From 2013 to 2023, Tom ran the small legendary Berlin club/bar "Anita Berber."
