Jerry Bouthier is a man of many talents. As well as DJ’ing for some of the most highly acclaimed designers to show at London and Paris Fashion Weeks, he is currently the resident DJ at Kitsuné (the Parisian travelling club night), following a stint as resident DJ at cult club BoomBox, which was launched at 2006. As if he didn’t have his fingers in enough pies already, he also has his own record label Continental.
The mix that Bouthier has provided for To Be Continued Magazine’s Fashion Issue is from his Paris Fashion Week collection of mix tapes. “My Paris Fashion Week tapes are among my most prized because I totally give myself free reign and indulge in my personal favourite tracks. I attempt to bridge what I do in clubs with what I do for shows, so it’s a little less pumping, still dancey though, just more evocative and feminine.”
