I'm not really sure when Trashville started - I think it became the name of our DIY label sometime in the early 90's - before that there was Diablo Discs, Trash Records and Burning Records (and probably a few I've forgotten). In 1980 my then band Fae Jane & The Burning Docs put out a compilation cassette called A Suicide in St Albans. It featured The Bodies, The Seen, Snatch 22, Cockroach's, Buzz et les Lumberjaks, Red Lector, The Basics and a few other collaborations between members of the above. Amazingly it got reviewed (favourably) in Sounds and Record Collector and we ended up selling out - including sales to Scandinavia, Europe, the States and Japan.
