It all started with my 1st Mobile DJ dance in 1975 at Jr. HS. I had to do that!
All through HS I did gigs. My 1st nightclub gig was Thu nights at The Brewery. I was 14. My grandmother drove me & my crate 😁
I also did sound & lighting for bands so I could buy more & better gear.
The name WIZARDZ grew out of that. We were supposed to be a glam band, but when I learned that I couldn't play a traditional instrument, it became WIZARDZ Sound & Lighting. As much as we were known for our music, our light shows landed us more & more gigs. It eventually got so big, designing and outfitting nightclubs like Circus Disco & Arena in Hollywood and others around the world, that I stopped spinning to run it. Almost 50 years later, after much blessed success, I get to come back to what started it all & "spark some joy" with these mixes. Not perfect, but perfectly loved.
